Introduction & Objective: Rifampicin (Rifampicin) is an antibiotic used to treat and eliminate bacterial infections. It has been approved to treat diseases such as tuberculosis (TB) caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Bacillus chacha, including latent tuberculosis infections. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of rifampicin on testicular tissue and sperm parameters.Materials and Methods: For this experimental study, 50 male Wistar rats were used. Rats should be weighing 8 weeks and weighing 20 ± 250. 30 rats were divided into 3 groups, each with different dilutions Facials are divided into 250, 500, and 750 ml. The use of medication is orally and daily for 60 days. 20 rats were divided into two groups of control and sham, respectively, the first group without treatment and the saline sham group during the course of the experiment. After 60 days At first, the mice in each group were fully blooded from their hearts and then we were anesthetized with ether and referring to the pathology laboratory for histopathological studies after testicular tissue sampling. Results: In examining the transverse sections of testicular tissue in experimental groups, the higher the dose of rifampicin increased, cell integrity was reduced by spermatogonial cells and primary and secondary spermatocytes respectively, as well as a decrease in the number of all cells in the seminiferous tubes One can relate the inhibitory roles of this antibiotic in cell proliferation. Conclusion: In this study, it is likely that the drug, with histopathologic effects on primary cells of the spermatocyte group, would increase the cell death of the cell, resulting in a reduction in the fertility rate with effects on the health parameters of the sperm.
